Forest Primeval
Cathedrals of Quiet
My love for ancient forests began as a question. Walking beneath towering canopies, I wondered what these places looked like centuries ago—when the forest was home rather than destination.
That curiosity became a calling. I left the familiar behind, traveling forgotten roads and remote valleys in search of what remains. True old-growth forests are now rare, fragments of a world largely erased.
Those that survived did so quietly. This collection records that journey—each photograph a meeting with a place that has endured. These images invite you to pause, slow down, and listen.
OLD GROWTH FORESTS are living archives of time. Shaped by centuries of slow growth and renewal, they feel both ancient and alive—irreplaceable ecosystems that store carbon, protect watersheds, and shelter life found nowhere else.
